The British developers Citygrove and Burlington are to invest in creating a new shopping plaza over a 30,000m2 plot. It is hoping to attract major international firms and top brands, plus create over 500 jobs. Work is hoping to start 2022 and be completed at the end of 2023. They have chosen the New York architectural firm KPF and chosen Savills Aguirre Newman to manage the site. Three commercial anchors have already expressed interest to open stores here and we will keep you updated on this news as it unveils.
There is also news of 5 luxury villas to be designed by the company Karl Largerfield and we will keep you updated on this as more is revealed. In September Marbella is also hoping to start works on a new park costing €1 million and hoping to be completed in 10 months. With all this news coming out, Marbella seems to be getting on track to live up to it's name of the Beverly Hills of Europe. With the beautiful climate and all these amazing upgrades, it seems that the only way is up for Marbella.
