Marbella Weather

Over the past couple of days we have seen some disastrous weather on the Costa del Sol.  A tornado caused some damage but the heavy rainfall caused many floods and damaged many homes and businesses.  Some people needed to be airlifted to safety with others getting stuck in their cars and having to climb onto the roof to wait for help.  Unfortunately two people lost their lives while trying to get to safety.

The past couple of days saw the coast on red alert for heavy rain and is still on orange alert.  There has been a lot of damage to buildings, cars etc and it is the worst weather seen here for around 20 years.

Many events were cancelled and now people are starting the clean up.  Our own appointments were cancelled today as many places are impossible to get to.

It is recommended not to go out unless you really need to as some roads are still closed off and cannot be passed,  try to check on the internet or local news to see if there are delays on the route you are going.

Also remember tomorrow (6th December) and Thursday (8th December) are holiday days so you may find a lot of places closed so make sure to plan around that if you need to go to the shops.

Don't forget this is Marbella and it never rains too long here, we can expect the sunshine to be back very soon.
