Spain’s New King.

Spain's new king, Felipe VI, will be sworn in later on today in a low-key ceremony after his father, Juan Carlos, abdicated earlier this month. It is said that Felipe, 46, will wear military uniform with a sash. After the ceremony he will be driven through central Madrid with his wife, Queen Letizia, a former journalist. You will see Madrid buses decorated with Spanish flags and the palace is giving out 100,000 flags for well-wishers to wave as the new king is driven to a reception at the royal palace. clickclick

Receive Your UK Post While in Spain

DSC03569
For a small fee, a new on-line ‘post office’ will receive your UK post to a new secure postal address – typically redirected from a UK home. They will then scan the envelope and make it available for you to see via your on-line account.  You  then decide whether you want the contents to be scanned and made securely available for you to read on-line, or you would like each letter forwarded, shredded or recycled! Another additional service lets you have on-line shopping or parcels sent to your UK postal address and then forwarded on to you in Spain, at your request.
